On Native Land is a new musical that intertwines the lives of three seemingly disparate characters—a lawyer, a Chief, and a rising singer-songwriter—whose paths converge in a powerful tale of identity, land, and love.

Our Story
Founded in 2011 by Corey Payette, Raven Theatre has been creating, developing, and producing innovative new musicals with a focus on Indigenous stories.
We are more dedicated than ever to be creating new Indigenous works and hope you will join us in the journey.
About Us
Corey Payette is a writer, lyricist, composer, producer, and director. He has directed "Stories That Transform Us" (2021), "Guide My Way" (2023), and "Les Filles du Roi" (2023) which has played in film festivals internationally and won multiple awards. His next musical feature film is "Starwalker" which was released in 2025.
